What is the purpose of challenge and crisis in our lives? Do we see obstacles only as painful stumbling blocks we want to avoid, or can they really be stepping stones to our higher destiny? Can the challenges we are going through right now be the breaking open of the shell to our own spiritual awakening?
Be sure to join Swamini Radhikananda at The Yoga Loft, 462 Adelphia Road, Freehold on Saturday, April 1, 12:30-1:30pm for a spirited talk and discussion on these life-changing questions. A $15 offering will be greatly appreciated. Participants are asked to give what they can. Call/text 732.239.2333 to register.
Swamini Radhikananda (of Chinmaya Mission, NJ) has been teaching the Bhagavad Gita and other Vedantic (non-dual) scriptures for over 30 years. An urgent spiritual search early in life culminated in 1978 when she met and heard the great spiritual master, H. H. Swami Chinmayananda, speak on the Bhagavad Gita in Washington, DC. Inspired by his divine presence and the Vedantic teachings, after completing her college degrees and working in Special Education, Radhikananda went to India in 1987 to join the intensive two-year course of scriptural study and sadhana (spiritual practice) at Chinmaya Mission’s ashram in Mumbai. Since 1989 she has been living and teaching at various Chinmaya Mission centers and local communities in the U.S.
