As the sun shines brighter and spreads its warmth over the earth, the plant world blooms with its floral offerings. Flowers are so much more than “pretty faces” they are medicine for our bodies, minds and souls. Explore how they have been used in the past as we participate in a flower tea ceremony, then create some floral tea bags to take home and enjoy. We will learn how flowers were added to certain foods to enhance their flavors and add a bit of magic. We will explore lunar gardening, planting with the cycles of the moon and how to create a moon garden. Of course there will be magical surprises to create and take home. There will be written handouts, as well as take a ways and as always some fore lore, myths and storytelling. Please bring a cushion or mat to sit on and remember to bring your journal.
