Keep the pH Level of Your Hair Balanced

Monitoring the pH levels of your hair is crucial in order to maintain strong and healthy looking locks.

Many haircare products contain harsh ingredients such as alcohol and formaldehyde. Over time these components can alter the natural level of the hair.

To preserve balance be sure to examine the ingredients of the products you include in your routine. Using natural cleansing agents such as baking soda and apple cider vinegar rinses will aid in restoring the hairs pH and gently cleanse the hair of any product build up.

The use of coconut and jojoba oil are a great way to ensure that hair is receiving an adequate amount of moisture. A low pH range keeps the hair cuticle closed, locking in moisture and keeping color vibrant.
